How OCPC runs its official social channels, and what we ask of members when posting about or tagging the club.
OCPC's only official social channels are listed below. Any other page, group, or account using the OCPC name is not run by us — always check you're on one of these before sending payment info or personal details.
We use our official channels to post the open play schedule, event recaps, merch drops, player shoutouts, and general club announcements. Our Facebook Group is also where members can post about court finds, carpooling, or general pickleball chat with the community.
When posting, commenting, or messaging on our official channels, please:
We reserve the right to hide, delete, or restrict comments and posts that violate these guidelines, and to remove members from our Facebook Group for repeated or serious violations, consistent with the conduct expectations in our Terms & Conditions.
We regularly post photos and videos from open play sessions and events on our official channels — see the media consent section of our Terms & Conditions for details on how that works. If you're tagged in a post you'd rather not be in, message the page and we'll untag or take it down where we can.
If you post your own photos from OCPC sessions or events, we'd love it if you tag us or use a club hashtag — but please be considerate of other players who may not want to be identifiable in a public post, and avoid posting anything that could embarrass or misrepresent someone without their okay.
Members are welcome to mention or tag OCPC when posting about sessions or events. Please don't create pages, groups, or accounts that use our name or logo in a way that could be mistaken for an official OCPC channel, and don't use our branding to promote unrelated businesses or services without asking us first. See our Intellectual Property terms for more.
Official merch payment confirmations go through the process described on our Shop page — we will never DM you first asking for payment or personal information out of the blue. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from OCPC, please don't send any money or details, and report it to us directly through our official page.
Admins may remove comments, posts, or members from our official channels at their discretion when content violates these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions. We aim to be fair and consistent, but moderation decisions on our own channels are ultimately ours to make.
OCPC is an independent community club and is not officially affiliated with USA Pickleball, the Philippine national pickleball federation, or any commercial brand mentioned on our channels (paddle brands, venues, etc.) unless explicitly stated as a sponsor or partner.
We may update this policy as our channels and community grow. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
